Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident using Freehold.Pro. This policy sets out clearly when and how you can get a refund, what your legal rights are, and how to contact us if you need help. We believe in being straightforward — no small print, no hidden conditions.

Current Free Access

Freehold.Pro is currently available free of charge to all registered users. No payment is required and therefore no refunds are applicable at this time.

When we introduce paid subscription plans, this Refund Policy will apply in full. We will notify all existing users before any charges are introduced and no payment will ever be taken without your explicit agreement.

Free Trial

When paid plans are introduced, all new subscribers will receive a 30-day free trial before any charge is made. During the free trial:

  • No payment details are required to start a trial
  • You will be notified before your trial ends and before any charge is applied
  • You can cancel at any time during the trial and will not be charged
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and your chosen payment method will be charged

Your Legal Right to Cancel — 14-Day Cooling Off Period

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a subscription purchased online within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. This is your legal right and cannot be removed.

If you wish to exercise this right, you must notify us within 14 days of the date your paid subscription begins. You can do this by emailing us at info@freehold.pro with your name, account email address, and the date of purchase.

Important: If you ask us to begin providing the service before the 14-day cooling off period expires — for example by starting to use the platform immediately after subscribing — you acknowledge that your right to a full refund under the cooling off rules may be reduced to a pro-rata amount reflecting the portion of the service already used. We will make this clear to you at the point of subscription.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for each calendar month.

  • You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months on monthly subscriptions — you retain access until the end of the period you have paid for
  • The 14-day cooling off right applies to your first monthly payment only
Example: If you subscribe on 1 June and cancel on 15 June, you will retain access until 30 June and will not be charged again. No refund will be issued for the unused days in June.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for a full 12-month period at a discounted rate.

  • You may cancel your annual subscription at any time
  • If you cancel after the 14-day cooling off period, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for any complete unused months remaining in your subscription
  • Partial months are not refunded — only complete calendar months remaining at the point of cancellation
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation being confirmed
Example: If you subscribe annually on 1 January and cancel on 20 March, you have used January, February, and part of March. You would receive a pro-rata refund for the 9 complete unused months remaining (April through December).

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you believe your circumstances warrant a refund outside of the terms set out in this policy — for example due to a serious technical failure on our part that prevented you from using the service — please contact us at info@freehold.pro and we will consider your request fairly and in good faith.

We will always try to do the right thing.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at info@freehold.pro with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • The date of your subscription or payment
  • The reason for your refund request

We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 10 working days. Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank or card provider.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you are unsure of your rights, you can get free advice from Citizens Advice at citizensadvice.org.uk.
